Partnership Grants: How to find a STEM partner - 7th Nov 2024

Are you interested in applying for a Partnership Grant and receiving up to £3,000 to run an investigative STEM project in your classroom? Unsure how to find a STEM partner to support the grant work? School staff and STEM professionals are invited to book now to join the Schools Engagement team at a choice of online sessions to find out more about the grants and application process. The session will also include top tips on how to find a STEM partner and what their role should be. Sessions are currently available to attend through until December 2024.

These sessions provide prospective applicants with an introduction to the Partnership Grants scheme, including Tomorrow's climate scientists, before exploring the application process in more detail. The team will share hints and tips about what makes a successful application, information about support available, as well as sharing examples of previously funded projects. A good part of this session will be dedicated to exploring the role of the STEM partner in the project and providing advice to schools about how to go about finding suitable STEM professionals to support the grant work. There will also be plenty of time for you to ask any specific questions you may have about the application process or your project ideas to ensure you have all the knowledge and understanding to make your application standout. All sessions take place over Zoom and start at 4pm. If there are other teachers in your school, or your STEM partner who are keen to attend, please ask them to book separately to attend. Please note that other dates are available throughout the term.
