This online workshop is designed to support prospective applicants to the Royal Society's Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) scheme. The session will provide practical guidance on the application process, offer insight into the EiR role, and explore how industrial, innovation and translational experience can contribute to the programme. Topics will include what makes a strong EiR application, presenting experience and impact effectively, developing a clear project proposal, navigating support and recommendations, and understanding common application challenges. The session is intended to be practical, supportive and accessible, with speakers from industry, innovation, business development and research translation backgrounds.
